should i get a tattoo?

i really do want one, of http://i552.photobucket.com/albums/jj322/Eclipse390/Tattoo031.jpg on my left hip, but i am absolutely 10000000% terrified of needles. i get nauseous if i’m even involved in a conversation about them. they’re not good. i’m deathly afraid.

my mom has been pushing, saying how someone in my family always gets a tattoo after we go on vacation, and we are coming back from the bahamas on june 25th. her and my sister are both going to get one, and i think my sister’s fiance is going to get his first, too.

what i’m thinking of doing is getting a small one somewhere, just like a heart or the infinity sign or something, just to see if i can take the pain. they say to get it on my wrist, and as much as i would love that, wouldn’t that be extremely painful considering it’s directly over like a million veins?

i really need some help thinking about this. if anyone has any opinions on the matter, my ask box is always open (and always empty -.-)
